The purpose of Ramah Elementary is to educate children to become independent problem-solvers, critical-thinkers, and life-long learners who will have a positive impact on their communities and the world. Also by:
- implementing positive behavior interventions and supports
- getting to know our students and their families
- working together to support and ensure the academic success of our students, including social, emotional, psychological, and physical well-being
- creating and maintaining a structured, disciplined, and thriving learning environment where students feel safe to take risks and ask questions
- using effective strategies to build and develop student’s creativity, imagination, compassion, critical thinking, logic, writing, communication, listening, reading as well as technological, mathematical, historical, and scientific inquiry
- recruiting and engaging community volunteers who can provide extra support
- creating events where students can actively participate to improve their communities
